OUR STORY

You shouldn’t have to start your trip exhausted.

We knew the frustration of drifting off on a flight, only to wake up as our heads dropped forward. After hours of trying to get comfortable, we would arrive exhausted, with a whole trip still ahead of us.

That experience led us to Kurva. The Travel Sleep Set attaches to your seat, with padding behind and beside your head and an eye mask to shut out cabin light. The arm support also gives your forearms a place to rest.

We wanted to make those hours in the air easier, so the first thing you look forward to on arrival is your trip, rather than catching up on sleep.

Actually slept on a 12-hour flight

I've been a frequent flyer for years and I've tried every neck pillow out there. Nothing worked until this. The head support keeps your head from dropping forward the second you relax — that's the part that always woke me up. Slept a solid 4 hours on my London to New York flight. Landed feeling human for once.

The arm wrap was the part I didn't know I needed

I bought this expecting the eye mask to be the best part. It's not. The arm wrap is. I never realised how much energy I was wasting trying to find somewhere to rest my arms in a middle seat. Once I had this on, everything just relaxed. Slept 3 hours and woke up with no stiff neck. Game changer.

My whole travel group saw me sleeping and ordered one

I used this on a girls trip to Bali and I was the only one who slept on the plane. By the time we landed, three of my friends had already ordered one. The setup is super quick — under a minute — and the eye mask blocks out everything including the sunrise through the window next to me. Best travel purchase I've made.

Business traveler approved

I travel for work every two weeks and I'm usually exhausted by Friday. Used this on a flight home from a long trip and slept the entire way. I'm not exaggerating. I woke up when the wheels touched down. No neck cramp, no stiff shoulders. I've already ordered a second one for my wife.

Finally — no head bobbing

Every time I'd fall asleep on a plane, my head would drop and jolt me awake. It happened on a loop for the entire flight. This completely solves that. The support attaches to the headrest and your head just stays in place. I slept through an entire movie I didn't want to watch AND the turbulence.

16 hours and didn't move once

Sydney to Dubai. 14 hours. I didn't adjust my position once after I fell asleep. My travel partner was shifting around every 20 minutes and I was out cold. The combination of the head support and the mask is what does it — you block light, you stop the head drop, and your body finally lets go. Absolutely worth it.

I cried at how well I slept

I'm a terrible plane sleeper. Always have been. I bought this as a last resort before a 9-hour overnight flight and honestly? I cried a little when I woke up 5 hours later. Actually cried. The eye mask doesn't press on your eyes which is huge for me — I have sensitive eyes and regular masks feel awful. This one just sits there blocking everything.

Really solid — took one flight to get the setup right

First flight I used it, I didn't get the strap tight enough on the headrest and it slid a bit during turbulence. Second flight I adjusted it properly before takeoff and it was perfect. Slept 4 out of 6 hours. Once you figure out the fit it works exactly as advertised. Eye mask is excellent.

Passed the red-eye test

Red-eye from LA to New York. Normally I arrive a mess. Used this and had about 4 hours of decent sleep. The arm wrap kept me from wriggling around and the mask blocked the reading lights that people always leave on. Arrived early enough to go straight to a meeting. Never doing a red-eye without this again.

My neck deserves this

I have a history of neck problems so plane travel is usually painful for me. My physio actually suggested I look for something that supports the head from the seat rather than just cushioning the neck — that's exactly what this does. Straps to the headrest, keeps your head upright, and I got off the plane without the usual soreness. Remarkable.

My husband laughed. Then he asked to try it.

He laughed the whole time I was setting it up. By hour 3 of our flight he was leaning over asking if he could try it. He wore it for the last two hours and slept immediately. He ordered his own when we landed. I knew I'd win in the end.

Worth every penny

I was skeptical about the price but this genuinely replaced three separate things I used to pack — a neck pillow, an eye mask, and a scarf for warmth. The arm wrap adds a bit of warmth too which is perfect for freezing cabins. One compact pouch in my carry-on and I'm sorted. Haven't used my old neck pillow since.

Military-approved for long hauls

Active duty, stationed overseas. I fly back home every 3 months — that's a 10-hour flight each way. I've tried everything. This is the first product that actually delivered on its promise. The head support holds without digging into your neck and the eye mask is wide enough to block even bright overhead lights.

Set it up in 30 seconds, slept for 4 hours

I was expecting it to be complicated but it's genuinely one of the easiest things to set up on a plane. Clip the strap over the headrest, adjust the mask, pull the wrap over your shoulders. Done. I was asleep before we reached cruising altitude. My seatmate kept staring at me apparently. I wouldn't know, I was asleep.

First time I didn't need recovery sleep after a flight

My normal post-flight routine is a very long nap. After using this on a 10-hour flight, I went straight to dinner with friends when I landed. I wasn't a zombie. I was awake and functional. My friends couldn't believe it. I've already recommended it to everyone I know who flies.

The blackout mask is genuinely blackout

I've tried so many sleep masks and they always let light in around the edges. This one doesn't. I don't know how they did it but zero light gets through. Combine that with the head support and I basically had a blackout pod in my economy seat. A stranger tapped my arm when we landed because they thought I might be dead.

A game changer for economy

Business class isn't always in the budget. This is the next best thing. I get some proper rest even in a narrow economy seat, which used to feel impossible. The strap system is clever — it doesn't rely on the seat in front of you and doesn't bother your neighbour at all. Clean, simple design.

Great product, slight learning curve

Took me two flights to really nail the fit. The first time the strap wasn't quite right on my headrest (narrow seat) but once I got it dialled in on the second flight, it worked beautifully. The arm wrap is incredibly comfortable and the eye mask is the best quality one I've ever had. Would still recommend to anyone.

Gifted it and got a thank-you text mid-flight

I gave one to my sister before her first long-haul flight. She sent me a text from the plane saying it was the best gift I'd ever given her. She slept 5 hours. She's normally someone who can never sleep on planes. The proof is in the text message.

Packed smaller than I expected

The compact pouch is genuinely small. Fits next to my water bottle in my personal bag with room to spare. I was worried it would be bulky but it's not. And when you pull it out and use it, you feel smug because nobody else around you is sleeping and you're about to.

Used on trains too and it's perfect

Mostly bought it for flights but I've been using it on long train journeys too and it works just as well. Any seat with a headrest is fair game. I commute by train once a week and now I actually look forward to it. Just clip in, put the mask on, and I'm gone.

Slept through turbulence — never thought I'd say that

I'm normally anxious during turbulence so sleep is out of the question once it starts. On my last flight there was a bumpy patch and I slept right through it because I didn't see or feel as much of what was happening around me. The head support held everything steady. Total revelation.

3-in-1 means I travel lighter now

I used to pack a neck pillow, a separate eye mask, and a thin blanket for my arms. Now I just bring this and I'm done. It replaces all three and does a better job than any of them individually. My carry-on has noticeably more space. That alone is worth it.

Best sleep product for travel I've ever bought

I travel every week for work. I am not someone who gives five-star reviews lightly. This deserves it. The difference between a flight with this and a flight without is significant. I used to arrive at clients' offices tired and slightly foggy. Not any more. I show up rested and ready.

My kids made fun of me until I woke up refreshed

My teenagers thought the arm wrap looked ridiculous and spent the first 30 minutes of our flight taking pictures. I woke up 4 hours later to find them both trying to take the mask off me to use it themselves. It packs into such a small pouch that they've both asked for one for Christmas.

Very comfortable, arrived well-rested

Used this on a 9-hour overnight flight. Got about 5 hours of what felt like real sleep — not that half-awake doze you normally get. My only note is that the eye mask could be just slightly wider for my face shape, but it's a minor point. The head support is the star of the show and it does exactly what it promises.

10/10 on an 8-hour flight

I set it up even before the seatbelt sign came on. By the time we were at altitude I was already drifting off. Woke up for a snack, went straight back to sleep. Eight hours later I stepped off the plane ready to start my holiday instead of needing a hotel bed first. Would give it six stars if I could.

My neck says thank you

I get chronic neck stiffness after flights and I used to just accept it as the price of travelling. After using this, I got off a 7-hour flight and stretched my neck — nothing. No soreness, no tightness. Whatever the head support does for the alignment is clearly working. My physio was impressed.

Slept like a baby at 35,000 feet

I usually watch movies the whole flight and arrive exhausted. Decided to actually try to sleep for once. Used this, was out within 20 minutes, slept 5 hours straight, woke up 30 minutes before landing. It's like discovering a cheat code. Why didn't I try this sooner?

The arm sling is underrated

Everyone talks about the head support and the eye mask but nobody talks about the arm sling enough. Arms always end up in awkward positions on long flights. This wraps around and gives them a resting place. My shoulders relaxed completely for the first time ever on a plane. The difference is huge.

Flew with it once and can never go back

It's one of those products where you try it once and can't believe you ever flew without it. I've done that same flight 20 times. I slept more on this one flight than on all the previous ones combined. The head support is the key — once your head stops dropping, your whole body relaxes.

Noah B.Verified buyer

Jet lag was basically nothing this trip

I'm convinced the reason I normally have such bad jet lag is the poor-quality sleep I get on flights. This trip I actually slept properly and the jet lag was barely noticeable. I adjusted to the new time zone in a day instead of three. Whether it's the sleep quality or luck, I'm not willing to test it.

Converted my entire travel group

Our group of four has all been on several trips together and we've all tried different sleep solutions. After I used this once, the other three tried it on the way back and all ordered their own. We now all travel with it. Our flight group chat has turned into reviews of each flight's sleep quality.

Does exactly what it says, well made

I was doubtful but this genuinely works. The head support keeps everything in place and the mask blocks light properly without feeling claustrophobic. Build quality is good — it's been through 6 flights so far with no signs of wear. My only gripe is it takes a minute to find the right adjustment on a new seat, but you quickly learn how.

I showed my seatmate and she bought one at the airport

She saw me set it up and asked what it was. I explained. She immediately opened her phone and ordered one while we were still boarding. Then she sat and watched me sleep for the next four hours while she couldn't. Her new one was waiting at home when she got back.

Road trip version works too

I initially bought it for flights but used it on a long drive home where I was the passenger. Works just as well in a car with a headrest. Slept for 3 hours while my partner drove and woke up with zero neck issues. It's basically a travel sleep system, not just a flight thing.

Made a 14-hour flight actually tolerable

I was dreading my first 14-hour flight for months. A friend suggested this as a last resort. I ended up sleeping about 6 hours total — broken into two chunks. The second chunk was 4 hours straight. For a 14-hour flight that felt like a miracle. Arriving was so much better than I feared.

Overthought it — just buy it

I spent two weeks reading reviews and debating whether to buy this. Bought it, used it once, couldn't believe I waited that long. The head support is the single best travel innovation I've come across. Stop overthinking it and just add it to your travel kit.

We had a 10-hour overnight flight for our honeymoon and I was determined not to arrive exhausted. Both of us used one. Both of us slept properly. We stepped off the plane, went straight to the hotel and went out to dinner that night. The trip started well because we actually rested on the flight.

Worth more than a business class upgrade

A business class upgrade on my route costs about €400. This cost a fraction of that and delivered real sleep. I've slept worse in business class without it than in economy with it. The math is obvious. Buy this and spend the upgrade money on your hotel instead.
